What makes you more attached to an oc over others? :o ie: the difference between enjoying them causally and being F E R A L about them

If I've managed to come up with a full arc for them. I'm totally fine with OCs who just exist as fun characters, but I'm more likely to become invested in them if I can actually trace a character journey for them.
