The simplest moral argument to refute a thalassophobic is to throw them in the ocean.

I mean you could technically do that, but I don’t agree with such an action. It’s unnecessary to put someone through stress like that even if you have good intentions. The fact that they very likely can’t swim is an issue as well, they could drown.
