How do you figure out an OC that matches your vibes? Is it like a sudden "oh", a careful consideration, both or neither?

every single time for me it's been a very sudden "oh" moment. xena was the most "development", so to speak, in that she wasn't an adopt and was made with help from an artist. other ones are usually adopts - for example, rose's fursona was an adopt!
