Number 19: Mouse in baked beans
In December 2011, Sainsbury's, the popular UK grocery chain, was fined approximately $12,000, after one of its customers found a mouse inside a can of store brand baked beans.
Bean starch was found in the rodents stomach during the investigation, and thus it was ultimately concluded, that greed was its downfall!
As a mouse, we too would try to sneak into a can of beans. Nobody told us that we would also get $12,000 for doing so. :o

here's an idea
since Retrospring is shutting down in a few days anyway, do you think it would make sense to just close your Retrospring inbox at this point (which I know is a thing you can do) so you won't have to worry about any new questions coming in that you won't have time to answer?

This looks like a nice alternative to retrospring, but having both Retrospring AND kazannezumi.straw.page (the place we will be accepting future questions) open at the same time has been extremely overwhelming to us, so us using this website at this moment is extremely unlikely.

I just realised adding water to a volcano mouse seems like a potentially bad idea
Don't worry. We won't explode when we come into contact with water under most circumstances. However, if we are threatened, water would magnify the pain associated with it.

when do you think is the right and wrong times to give people criticism?
If it's criticism like "you suck" or "your artwork sucks," we would argue that there is NO right time for that (unless the person is into it, we guess).
If it's criticism like "I like this about your artwork, but this part of your artwork could be improved," the safest things would be to wait until the person asks for criticism or indicates that constructive feedback in allowed at all times. Unprompted criticism can feel like you're saying, "I'm choosing to find fault with you and your creativity," even if that's not your intention.
You don't have to be an expert in whatever you're critiquing to offer valid criticism. But when in doubt, ask with the individual if criticism is okay.
