When can embarrassing questions be fun~? To contrast, when are they not?

Fun: If it's asking for like, a funny story from your childhood that was embarrassing in the moment, but you can just look back at it and laugh now.
Not Fun: Mmm, how to describe what I'm thinking? Like... I would be negatively embarrassed being asked invasive questions in-person more so than online. At least online, I can ignore or delete them. XD
