I don't really get what you mean by characteristics, but I'll try to answer as I understand it... I think they have one common characteristic, and it's deep and tender feelings towards loved ones. This is a mom for Naib and Gertrude for Eli. They're different, and ofc they have their dark side. But they can love, and sacrifice themselves for their family. When I draw naibeli I think about it... I think they would do a lot for each other.
