I can easily picture this happening for pufflets. They're surprisingly fiesty even being so young. I can easily imagine Meta Knighy angering his pufflets into a temper tantrum, so of course when he tries to get near them they do that little growly sounds until he presents an apple or strawberry.

borblets when dinner is late. they will still eat of course but make their complaints heard as well.
