Can somebody please explain to me how you can vote for the presidential election in the US? What is the registration process when you are a first time voter and what do you do after moving to a different state? I am at a loss here!

The trick is that every state has its own specific rules, generally you just do your registration form by the deadline - some states make you do it months before the election, some let you show up to the voting station on election day and register and cast your ballot same day
