If you had to choose, would you rather have the tendency to see the good in people but eventually get disappointed, or struggle with trust issues in order to protect yourself, even when others may not mean any harm?

I’d prefer to see people for who they truly are (it’s not in the options SORRY). But naturally, I tend to be cautious at first and let trust gradually over time. So I’d have to go with the latter!

I.. already am having trouble trusting people even without getting asked to decide a better pick between these options. However, rather than to protect myself, I simply find it bothersome to have anybody stripping me page after page like an open book.
