No worries at all! And also, not to be flippant but I'd also say that sometimes people just like stuff because they enjoy it. Like preferring chocolate ice cream over vanilla, that sorta surface level enjoyment? So I'd definitely factor that in as well tbh 😂 at this point it really is just another subgenre of fic for me, very much like angst or fluff.
