hey thanks for your dog breeding post. my sister breeds anatolian shepherds and spends thousands of dollars on caring for them and testing them for genetic defects. she has sold them to work on many happy farms over the years and they have wonderful lives as working dogs. people do not understand that shopping for an animal to do a specific job is NECESSARY if you are looking to eliminate specific undesirable traits.

YES EXACTLY!! dog breeds were made for very specific reasons. while some of them i disagree with on a moral level, specifically the non working and toy breeds with unhealthy physical deformities such as bulldogs and pugs, there is a purpose and reason for many, many breeds to exist!! i chose the breed of dog i'm buying soon for the friendly and easygoing personality, which i need being someone who plans on taking him to work often.
