Hi! I wanted to thank you for the super professional call-out post for AmaZine. I'd love it if you didn't share the reply to this on social media as well and I'm sorry if it seems like I'm abusing your Retrspring for personal matters, but I wanted to sincerely thank you.
Monee is a person that is known (especially in the KLC fandom) to try to control the space by drawing in creator friends and keep them in her tight circle to control the fandom with. This meant that everything from projects to spaces and zines were under her grip. If you wanted to be an accepted content creator, you'd have to dislike and shame the same people. This means she had power to harass people she disliked for personal reasons and make them become a total outcast, impossible to thrive or make friends in the fandom.
It's a first I heard this behaviour of hers even reached financial scam levels, so I am super glad you brought this to light.
Stay strong, you're protecting so many victims (be it past and future) with this!
Hello! Thanks for writing in. You're absolutely not abusing my RS by writing here, I'm happy to talk with anyone who has something to say about the situation and my DMs on both Bluesky and X are open. 😄 I'm doing this as a service to the community and I'm glad it's being felt that way by you and quite a few other people. I've heard some scathing reports of what they're doing and how they're reacting to my document, it's clear to me that these are not professional people and they shouldn't be trusted for zines. Each communication I get regarding their character reaffirms that point... So let me tell you that you're not alone, stay strong you too! We'll get out of this stronger together. 😄
