Well, I have tried Crème de marrons (mashed candied chestnuts) with goat cheese lately, and that was great. Other than that, cheese (blue cheese and goat cheese mostly), sugar with lemon juice, various jams, various mashed nuts (almond, hazelnuts…) and honey. It mostly depends on what’s on hand at the time !
