this is all just my take but in case anon is still here as someone who has long had a soft spot for jaemsung i think the thing with jaemsung is that before jaemin used to be very loud crazy about jisung openly to the point it was obvious he favored jisung over basically everyone who wasn’t jeno and even then he babied jisung in a way he never did anyone else or that no one else babied or loved jisung. but once they and really jisung grew up they had a bit of an adjustment period and i think it was obvious jisung wanted jaemin to see him more on the same level/same age friend way and jaemin being quieter about him for a period sort of helped with that. like i remember jisung saying how nice it was to see jaemin loving the other members last year especially and mentioning how he’s always wanted to repay jaemin or love jaemin back as much as jaemin has loved and done for him since they were trainees. i think jaemin does still baby him but jaemin babies everyone even mark now so i think jaemin being “louder” about other members has actually helped his dynamic with jisung mature and feel more even in comparison to when they were younger. and i think saying this jaemin himself is also different from when they were younger and that adds to it too. also in general jisung doesn’t have a lot of shippy skinship moments with members, i think jihyuck has ended up being an anamoly about this and when it comes to rensung it’s always rj initiating, so i think the shift noticeably is from jaemin’s side. but i do think that’s just jaemin adjusting to how jisung wants to be loved and receive affection. we’ll never know how close they are or aren’t compared to whenever obviously but i genuinely think that while yes jaemin is more reserved about jisung in comparison to before and other members it is in response to jisung and i do think their bond is just as strong but more mature and on the same level now.

anyway again this is just my take but wanted to add it if you want since i do see where anon is coming from as a newer fan and i have seen newer dreamzens more contused about their dynamic but i don’t think that takes away from jaemsung’s dynamic. it is different but in some other ways the same and you can see the throughline in how they’ve always acted about each other.

hi! was looking at old dream content and realized jaemsung used to interact so much more. they still do obvi but it’s way less now and more chill and stuff. i’m not much of a jisung ships shipper so i’m not very well versed in all his dynamics but it’s hard to miss this change and not even asking in a yaoi way but more in general them as bandmates friends etc is this talked about what happened to jaemsung’s dynamic and friendship in fandom? obviously i’m not saying they aren’t close or anything and still have moments like that super cute vlive a few weeks back but just compared to a lot of other jaemin dynamics they aren’t as noticeable espcially makrmin and nahyuck in comparison

akgaes nonshippers and nomin shippers who prefer jnjm always act like they're morally superior to people who like jmjn which is crazy cause they're always out here talking about stereotypes but they can't let go of 2019 and still believe that jn is more muscular/bigger (which doesn't meant anything for top/bottom positions but they sure think they do) (also jmjn shippers were shipping them that way BEFORE jaemin even became buff all you had to do is actually pay attention to how these two interact but i digress) than jm when that hasn't been true for like four years not to mention they stereotype the fuck out of jn's personality because of his physique when if you listen or watch nomin clips for like 5 minutes (even from 2018 😭) you would realize that jn is not the dom alpha bad boy to jm like they want him to be! and they're also out here sending the most insane threats because of it?? and WE'RE the weird ones like oh okay........... not to mention bottom jn people have always been the minority in the shipping side of the fandom 😒
