Seeing HSR fans panic over Castorice possibly getting ship bait with the Trailblazer is so fucking funny and well-deserved karma for them hyping up Castorice to shit on Varesa and calling the latter goonerbait. I hope it remains that way while Varesa gets a good SQ and good characterization. It’ll be such fitting punishment and prove all the hate was for nothing and once again typical forced Natlan hate.

Nah, I have to agree with that one anon about what they said about Fontaine. Genshintwt doesn’t give a single shit about good writing nor representation and will happily eat up dropped conflict and plot lines (Navia and Clorinde, Wrio and Lyney, etc), plot holes, Deus ex machinas, and characters being isolated from each other and not allowed to interact as long as you slap on shallow ship bait and feed into shallow cultural stereotypes Genshintwt believes in.

Unpopular opinion here but I think with few exceptions, Hyv pushes several ships and leaves it up to interpretation? You can see Beigguang, but I feel like Ninglan gets food too. Yae has chemistry with every woman she talks to. In HSR you can ship Dh with Blade or Jy, I don't think they'll ever commit one way or another. And I think they also tease both Ratio and Topaz with Aventurine, but neither will be canon, it's just crumbs for fans. I just don't understand why people can enjoy the food for different flavors of ships. If you have an otp and can't stand the thought of them being broken up, block and mute instead of trying to force people not to ship something. Shipwars always existed but Hyv fandoms are a new level of crazy where people can't admit that everyone gets pandering and nothing is going to be canon.
