The comforting weight of another's arm around him gradually became distinct from the weight of his blankets, and he felt his skin prickle and the fine hairs on his arms stand on end as a warm hand, slightly damp with perspiration, smoothed over the curve of the small of his back. His eyes shot open when fingertips dared to move lower, pressing just hard enough to divot the soft flesh of his behind under the pressure of the touch.
"Eiden."
"Good morning to you too," Eiden replied, voice full of mirth.
