what is the difference between Choking and Asphyxiation
choking is just that, the action of choking involves someone /obstructing/ the airway (eg squeezing the neck). whereas asphyxiation is a more general term describing a deprivation of oxygen to the body! this can include strangulation, drowning, suffocation,.. A lot of times this term is used in instances where the bloodflow to the brain is stopped/decreased. choking doesn't necessarily have to involve the cutting off of the bloodstream. Hope this could help ⭐️
