wait...do you there is a chance that, if they go with a third movie, tim burton wont direct it? I mean its a personal project to him but, since im assuming the rights are owned by warner bros, theres no way warner bros are going to let go of a third movie if the sequel made 430 million dollars in less than 2 months. I'm curious to see how it will pan out for the franchise.
they could pressure him to make another movie, but replace him? impossible. if he's out, so are michael and winona because they will refuse to do it without him. plus i think WB is aware of the cult following beetlejuice and tim burton have, and that shit sells.
