so true!!!!!!!!!! i don't think hc would feel insulted but he'd absolutely be much sterner than feng xin. feng xin enjoys a good fight, the rougher he gets to be to tame mu qing the better, but hua cheng really is not willing to risk hurting xie lian beyond a couple bruises and bites. feng xin would let mu qing get as feral and demanding and difficult as he wants but hua cheng would only let xie lian fuss for a bit before pinning him down firmly and forcing him into submission until xie lian calms down with a little whimper. in this regard, hua cheng has zero tolerance and patience bc he really knows whats best for xie lian!!!!

yeah that's the worst part 😭 feng xin would be like 'pay him no mind dianxia!!!' but xl would be like but mu qing is upset 😔😔 and keep trying to talk to mu qing so mu qing won't have an even bigger fit

😭😭😭 i love cats so much they're menaces (and so is mu qing). i feel like only xie lian could swaddle mu qing and survive it because feng xin might lose a hand if he attempts it...though i guess guoshi could probably swaddle him too?? i think mu qing has a very interesting relationship w guoshi because you can tell despite resenting him he always yearned for his approval. and im guessing feng xin might lay down on mu qing without needing to be asked to hold him down and manhandle him into submission
