With Riddle, sometimes (most times) it's a placation thing and something he feels he has to do to help keep a certain level of peace, but Idia just. likes sweets. Trey can send him something just because and Idia is enough of a Gay Boy tm to absolutely swoon over anything. Top tier romance.

Plus Mr. great-at-electronics can build anything to help out in the kitchen. is it probably more high tech than it needs to be? yes. is it top of the line? also yes. trey wouldn't have had to sneakily get that food processor for the dorm because idia would have already built him one twice as fancy and for the low low price of a smoocharoo and maybe some damn cookies.
