Your friend ghosted you for over a year and suddenly you get a text from them what do you do?

Depends on the context. If they are wanting something from you immediately after a year of absence, thats a red flag. If it's just to reconnect, approach in good faith. Life is hectic and sometimes things drop off your plate that you don't mean too.
