BC: When you discover her place and when she's captured with Avalanche & still tries to put up a fight despite still being an hostage

CoS: When we learn that Elena is the reason why Midgar got mostly fully evacuated post- Meteorfall by propagating a rumor that the damages will cause the remaining plates to collapse +That paragraph where we learn that Elena spend a lot of time connecting with people around the surrounding villages of Healen Lodge & is the one to come up with a plan of stimulants distribution & Rufus immediately trusting her with it, which is a great way to showcase her sense of initiative & that she show some compentency as an intelligence officer & as a buissnessman

TKAA: When she express her frustrations & question Tseng about his methods of research concerning looking for what's left of Jenova by only relying on the BC Turks+ Her disobeying Tseng & refusing to shoot Evan which feels like potential character developpment material for her knowing she has been depicted having that blind reverence for him prior.

Rebirth: Her protecting Rude during the Coliseum fight, showing their developpment as teammates as her first batlle had him protecting her while the roles get reversed in the Gold Saucer, showing that she will have the back of her colleagues ( & it's heartwarming knowing Rude is depicted as the one constantly putting his body in front of others to protect them usually from the ultimania). It also shows that she's learning too as she now manage to read Cloud, Tifa & Aerith tricky tactics & attempt to overwhelm them, which is followed by her & him making disrupting them by spamming shockwaves & grenades.
+ Bonus: Her scene where she start to showcase some doubts about Rufus' decision-making in the helicopter in Junon but then can't help herself to admit she likes the fact he is accompanying them to the temple despite the danger which shows some nuance about her character & compared to how she usually sees people & situations, this time giving her a rather nuanced view of Rufus
