Yes, at least at the time i was still in middle & high school.
I don't think things changed much since as the newer generations here don't seem to have a puritan mindset at all from what i've seen with gen z art school classmates or roomates i had. I don't hang out with teenagers so I can't really tell ultimately.
Lmao, I used to be in a private christian highschool ( I attended both public & private schools for reasons) that while being annoying about skirt lenghts ( & me not giving af at the time because I wanted to wear my short dresses & somehow never got expelled or punished for it lol) wasn't overly puritan & I remember how there was a class in my grade that was filled with the horniest kids ever & were constantly talking about with who was sleeping with who.
The age of sexual majority is 15 y old too here so maybe that comes into play as well

What's your favorite Elena moment from the OG? And from the Compilation and Rebirth?
OG: When she's allowed to have a boss fight & is revealed to be the one with the group with the most HP & damage output which is a great subversion
BC: When you discover her place and when she's captured with Avalanche & still tries to put up a fight despite still being an hostage
CoS: When we learn that Elena is the reason why Midgar got mostly fully evacuated post- Meteorfall by propagating a rumor that the damages will cause the remaining plates to collapse +That paragraph where we learn that Elena spend a lot of time connecting with people around the surrounding villages of Healen Lodge & is the one to come up with a plan of stimulants distribution & Rufus immediately trusting her with it, which is a great way to showcase her sense of initiative & that she show some compentency as an intelligence officer & as a buissnessman
TKAA: When she express her frustrations & question Tseng about his methods of research concerning looking for what's left of Jenova by only relying on the BC Turks+ Her disobeying Tseng & refusing to shoot Evan which feels like potential character developpment material for her knowing she has been depicted having that blind reverence for him prior.
Rebirth: Her protecting Rude during the Coliseum fight, showing their developpment as teammates as her first batlle had him protecting her while the roles get reversed in the Gold Saucer, showing that she will have the back of her colleagues ( & it's heartwarming knowing Rude is depicted as the one constantly putting his body in front of others to protect them usually from the ultimania). It also shows that she's learning too as she now manage to read Cloud, Tifa & Aerith tricky tactics & attempt to overwhelm them, which is followed by her & him making disrupting them by spamming shockwaves & grenades.
+ Bonus: Her scene where she start to showcase some doubts about Rufus' decision-making in the helicopter in Junon but then can't help herself to admit she likes the fact he is accompanying them to the temple despite the danger which shows some nuance about her character & compared to how she usually sees people & situations, this time giving her a rather nuanced view of Rufus

do you know that people call Elena best girlfailure? it's because of how tryhard and cringe she is. English Elena i mean.
I mean she kinda is a girlfailure in both version lmao (tho she still ultimately has her own merits throughout the compilation) It's just the english version try too hard to make her sound like an annoying mean girl constantly, from the voice direction & the localization depriving her of her nuances.
ngl, it would be neat for her to finish the trilogy on a win as a Turk for a change.

Of course.
If you want to pair Rufus with a lady, Elena is right there. Their personnalities can bring out some interesting chemistry & frictions as well as delving deeper in their own characters so there's a lot of potential for fan story writing. You're in for a fun dynamic if you take in account their canon characterization & it's a shame there's not more fanworks for them out there.
& ngl, being one of the few ruiri creators out there can get really lonely, even within the Turks fandom & when you use to constantly be able to chat with other prior to switching ships.

No, not a combat situation. Just at anyone she's mad at.
Depends of the circumstances.
Even if she has a temper, it doesn't necessarily mean she will always physically lash out at every occasion & that she doesn't have the capacity of restraining herself when she's angry or when someone piss her off. We're talking about someone who used to have a previous job in a bar of wall market & also had to deal with buisness matter & engage with the public in Rufus's stead post-meteorfall. And she cares about the image of the company.
It recquire a minimum of patience, in particular towards people who might be drunk rude assholes or people potentially openly pissed at Shinra

I don't like Nayo's outfit as I think it's poorly designed, sorry =')
The thing is that I don't think many outfits from Rebirth would fit on her including the bikinies & I would prefer her to see in a version of some of the remake wall market dresses instead. I would be really happy to see Elena in something like Tifa's kimono or her purple dress or the more flashier pink or the red dress of Aerith

I saw you mention reno is an orphan and elena is from the slums, was that a before crisis thing or established somewhere else?
Reno says to Veld in Case of Shinra that he wouldn't be less surprised to be awaken by the ghost of his father than him, implying that at least his father died.
Elena works in the slums of Wall Market & has her own place there & her sister character's description from a guidebook/ultimania says that her hometown is the slums. If you pick Emma as the player Turks, she also mention "It’s been years since I was last down here…" when she end up in the slums during the chapter focused on Aerith in Before Crisis.

I think the fairy of snowfall would look great on Elena (& she seemingly wears a lot of white colors outside her uniform so it fits her tastes) I after all had fun making a fairy of the holy flame variation for her
Would love to see as well something like the the bahamut robe, shinobi hawke, aeroglider & maybe a variation of the blue daffodil attire for her too.
Now that Rebirth is out on pc, if there are modders out there interested =')
