I just wanted to say I'm gonna miss all of my Anon-chans SO MUCH whenever retrospring shuts down in March T^T

How do you exercise your brain?
mostly by doing coding projects like my website. i used to play brain age a ton, and i also do a lot of games & puzzles like solo mahjong, sudoku, wordle, worldle (not a typo its the geography version); stuff like that! watching stuff that confuses me, reading difficult books, working on building foreign language vocabulary, even just taking a route home that you normally don’t can exercise your brain

How do you name your computers?
right now the naming convention at home is modeled after the 1970 film “colossus: the forbin project” but before we established this naming convention i used the computers names in charge of NERV in evangelion, which happen to be the same as the admins/GMs from .hack//SIGN (caspar, balthasar, and Melchior, which iirc are also the names of the three wise men from the bible who visit baby jesus ? i think ?), and at one point they were all named for characters from suzumiya haruhi. mine was nagato. the server was going to be mikuru; but anyway, they are all named after this obscure 70’s film now x3

What's the best way to get a good night's sleep?
if you have medicine that aids you in sleeping: take that (muscle relaxers, anxiety meds, etc.)
in addition: no caffeine ~6 hrs before your goal bedtime, journal out any anxieties you had/have about the day/the rest of the week, have a good experience before bed (watch a show you like that relaxes you, listen to a favorite mellow album, talk to a good friend; stuff like this), if you have a routine for getting ready for bed then follow it (washing your face, brushing your teeth, tying up your hair if you do that, etc.), then just get warm, have the room set to a low enough temperature to facilitate sleeping, and tuck urself in for a snug night of sleeping! :D
