midnight curiosity.. what will you do when you love someone but you don't want to be with them because you know they will hurt you..? 🤔

Loving someone doesn't mean we need to own them as a whole, does it? I'd still watch them from afar, but in case I talked to them on daily, I'd act like nothing happened. My feelings are my responsibility after all, being in love or not will always meet sorrow moments anyway. What do you think?
